Hello all,
At Middlesbrough Council we are currently at the very first stages of
looking into a corporate wide EDRMS system. We have started workshops and
formed a working group across departments and are now starting to look into
an information audit to analyse the current state of play. To ensure we get
this vital stage correct can I ask if any other local councils who have
already under gone this process have any information they can share with us
in terms of what questions they looked to ask (we have produced a template
questionnaire) to understand where they were as a council at that point and
what information they looked to obtain to produce a business case towards
the aim of a EDRMS?
On a second and separate note I'd like to say thanks to all those who
responded to my first post a few weeks ago concerning literature on the
subject of records management. Much appreciated!
