"Even one "move" by the Finnish poet Leevi Lehto has
been 13 times more useful to me than the sum total of what I've read by
you. The google results of a search on "candiru" were more intriguing
visually & contentually than what you've done with the buzz about "Tiny
Catfish Hunter"."
I know, being helpful or non-hostile is such a bitch isn't it?
I probably shouldn't care about an opinion as crudely & pointlessly
voiced as this (on a snap whatsmore), but declaring the 'sum total' of
all the work I've put up as trash borders on unkindness with me. I
have ZERO problem with someone saying that my work is bad, I've been
told it often before & have tended to agree with the commentor each
time (as now), what I have a problem with is not being told why or how
to rectify a poem somebody identifies as bad. toddies aside, I mean.
but don't feel any need to try again, Barry, I'm fairly sure that
civilised behaviour is quite out of your league.
incidentally, what 'moves' were you talking about with connection to
Lehto? also, how have they been 'useful' to you, and why did you
expect this short, meaningless snap to be of any sort of practical
use?
