Please Joanna, don't take it personally, I would not like to sound too
critical, but if you ask someone who is familiar with crows, they will say
these birds are quite smart when they want to eat. Or blackbirds _who belong
to a milder species, I had one who literally kept on destroying my little
plants on the balcony a couple of years ago. I am sure he could feel me
coming and kept me under watch.
As usual "scientists" or journalists never ask the right people.
What might be interesting is to notice how animals have been disqualified to
the point that when we human beings notice a sparkle of intelligence we are
just stunned.
