I saw that. I was pretty disappointed by the limited horizons of the NYT's
critics, I must say. No mention of Michael Nyman, Louis Andriessen. (If
Nyman had his grotty cinematic moments, so too did Glass.) I'd put in a word
for Bill Laswell at the arty end of drum'n'bass/dub.
Mind, I can't stand John Adams. Friends who know how much I like Glass &
Reich find this very funny because they can't tell the difference.
