poets on this list write poetry i admire, Judy... incredibly, i find there
are many poets i like/enjoy/seek among contemporaries... i pretty much
reside online and almost never read print journals...
i hesitate to name names as that usually devolves into just a list of names
as others join in... it's fun to make lists!
the other side of this is my own writing which reflects its historical
influences or otherwise... quite selfishly, i want to promote myself!
the more i read and write poetry the more i realize i'm part of a larger
conversation/process/evolution... incredibly referential, perhaps,
impossibly...
chairs!

Personally I'm always ready to learn, although
I do not always like being taught.
