Lecturer in Media
School of Modern Languages & Cultures - Department of Cultural Studies
Applications are invited for the above post in the rapidly-expanding
Department of Cultural Studies at the University of Nottingham. The
successful candidate will join the Media and Communications Studies
team within the Department and will be expected to contribute to
undergraduate and MA teaching, as well as supervising MPhil and PhD
students.
Candidates should have a PhD (or be near completion), or equivalent,
in the areas of mass media and journalism, either in broadcasting or
the print media, together with at least one publication, therefore
candidates early on in their career are encouraged to apply.
Preference may be given to candidates with expertise in new media.
Salary will be within the range £29,138 - £39,160 per annum, depending
on qualifications and experience (salary can progress to £45,397 per
annum, subject to performance). This full-time, permanent post is
available immediately.
