Dear MCGers.
I need to get a handwritten journal (diary) that was kept by a person on
an expedition to the Antarctic transcribed in its entirety.
The journal is about 120 pages long, is difficult to read and dates from
1915. There are up to about 300 words on each page. The work will be
done from the journal itself, not from digital images of it.
Does anyone have any recommendations for people who could do the work,
or any typical prices for this type of work?
I've had catalogue records transcribed before, but nothing of this
format.
Please reply off-list if appropriate.
Cheers
James
