Here at the University of Winchester we are considering sending out
underdue emails to remind borrowers that the items that they have out on
loan are almost due. I am interested to hear about the experiences of
other libraries who sent such reminders, in particular:
1) How long before items are due do you send out underdues?
2) Have you had any problems associated with the introduction of
underdues?
3) Do you allow borrowers to 'opt out' of receiving these reminders?
