Practical Project Management
Glasgow Metropolitan College , 60 North Hanover Street, Glasgow G1 2BP
Thursday 20th September 2007
Many activities we undertake as part of daily work can be handled more
easily and effectively using a project framework.
Practical Project Management is a one-day workshop offered by the Chartered
Institute of Library and Information professionals in Scotland and delivered
by JISC infoNet. JISC infoNet has developed a project methodology which
can be adapted for any size of project.
The workshop will be an interactive day aiming to introduce delegates to a
structured approach to Project Management. The day is aimed at staff who
need to manage projects in the course of their duties. The content will be
flexible to enable the workshop to be matched to the needs of delegates. No
prior knowledge is assumed although the event is suitable for staff with
previous experience of projects as well as beginners.
The cost is £60 CILIPS members; £100 institutional members and £120 non
members including lunch and refreshments.
