UNDERSTANDING AND CARING FOR BOOKBINDINGS
National Preservation Office Training Day
Monday 17 September 2007
This training day will help librarians and archivists to understand the
types of bindings in their collections, give guidance on handling and
describing bindings, and on appropriate conservation techniques. There
will be an opportunity to visit the new conservation studio in the
British Library Conservation Centre, opened in May this year.
