***With apologies for cross-posting***
The Career Development Group London & South East Divisions invite you to
join our summer social event this Thursday 9th August. We'll be taking an
evening stroll around London's south bank and across Waterloo Bridge to
investigate Antony Gormley's celebrated statues at close quarters.
The artist has placed 31 life-size statues of himself around central
London, all facing towards the Hayward Gallery to publicise his Blind
Horizons exhibition. On a short guided walk, we'll discover some of the
hidden secrets of the sights, buildings and locations chosen by Gormley
for his unusual exhibition.
We'll then adjourn to the Lyceum Tavern to enjoy a drink, with an area of
the pub specially reserved for our group.
All are welcome to join us on this event. A small donation - £3
suggested - is requested for CDG international projects.
For more information about these projects, see the website
www.careerdevelopmentgroup.org.uk
Meet outside the Hayward Gallery on Thursday 9th August at 6.15pm.
