Dear all,
My colleague has come up with a question which I am sure
a lot of you would be interested in...I know I certainly am. If I can't
get a periodical issue on loan from the BL I generally give up!
Her email is below. I will happily take all replies
([log in to unmask] OR [log in to unmask]) and once I have a general
idea of which libraries could be used as 'back up periodical libraries'
I will let you all know if you like. No need to reply if you cannot help
or if you DO NOT lend periodicals.
Regards,
Andy Jack

Good Morning,
We've received a request for two IMF periodical issues from Surrey, but
can't supply as they are missing from shelf (the title is "Annual report
on exchange arrangements and exchange restrictions" 2000 & 2001. Aside
from the BL, is there anyone out there who would be willing to lend
these so we can redirect rather than sending back?
We'd also be interested to know which libraries (other than the BL)
lending policies permit lending periodicals. We only lend IGO and
government publications (with the exception of US, UN, EU and
statistics).
Thanks very much,
Kate.
