Dear Colleague
A pre survey notice from Emerrson Consulting Ltd who will be conducting a
survey on behalf of JISC
Study announcement
Retention of learning materials: A survey of institutional policy and
practice
JISC has commissioned a study to investigate the retention of learning
materials in universities and colleges. The study is being carried out by
Emmerson Consulting. They will soon invite you to complete a short survey
about your institution's policy and practice on the retention of learning
materials, its future plans in this area and your own views on this
important issue. The survey will be posted in mid-August and we will
provide you with the relevant link at that time.
This is an opportunity to shape the development of good practice guidance
which will help universities and colleges - and all academic staff - to
manage learning materials more effectively, and to exploit their enormous
potential as a knowledge resource. As a small incentive, in completing the
survey you will have the option to enter a prize draw to win a digital voice
recorder for your institution.
Regards
Gerard
