PAI doesn't affect mapping in town/city centres - specifically, I think, areas that are mapped at 1:1250. There used to be a lot of info on the OS website but it may have gone now the project's finished.

We've started to check our data but so far only sites around the edge of the city seem to be affected. These will be corrected as I get to each one (we're currently in the process of entering all our paper records on to a new database as some are still paper and some are in an outdated system). This is giving us the perfect opportunity to check data and particularly the NGR's, some of which are very suspect. Luckily the majority of entries on the HER are in the city centre and so the difference here appears to be so minimal I'm not going to worry about it at the moment. We have someone in our IT section who has automatically adjusted quite a number of overlays on our GIS but unfortunately none of mine as yet.
Don't know if this is of any help.
