Absolutely.
I scoffed at patients who told me they got constipated on paracetamol.
Until I did my back in - Distalgesic 2 qds [remember those days, wistful
sigh?] fine - paracetamol 2 qds - bunged up for days.
Learnt a valuable lesson - Listen to what patients tell me -
subsequently have learnt the Golden Rule :
ANY drug can do ANYthing to ANYone.
Oh, and diclofenac is far better for a lot of OA than paracetamol, less
tablets and less constipation. They feel the benefit, but don't feel the
harm.
