Now there's an idea--farewell tour or something. Our venue for the CBT
workshop is a lovely country house hotel on outskirts of Derry, GREAT
food, they have had all kinds of famous folk there and had Lord Savile
and some of his team during the Bloody Sunday enquiry. At least two list
members have been there before and I recall they were happy with the place.
So come on over GP-UKers!!! Ryanair and some smaller airlines fly into
City of Derry airport and I shall be happy take y'all on guided tours.
I think a good argument could be made for claiming the whole trip as a
professional expense.......

<<<Fel free to carry on
GP-UK is dying slowly and anything that can keep it going is fine by me.
Perhaps we need to consider a farewell tour?

Subject: re CBT
Because some of you asked----our next two day CBT skills for primary care
workshop is in Derry, Beech Hill House Hotel, November 1/2. Change of date
from previously "advertised" due to Michael Duffy (one of our two teachers)
getting THE CALL for his PhD viva.
Anyway, Michael's colleague, Kate Gillespie, is the other teacher and they
are two of the best therapists/teachers/researchers in the UK, especially
noted for their work on PTSD.
This would be a chance for some GP-UKers to have a bit of a get together as
well as have a tax deductible trip over here and learn some real useful
stuff.
And I'll write no more on this Tref, honest!
Declan
PS off list for details.
