Forwarded from the Medieval Religion List:
medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Colleagues will be saddened to learn that Harold Fox, Professor of
English Local History at the University of Leicester, has passed
away. He was an extraordinarily kind and thoughtful man, and all who
knew him could not but be touched by his genuine care and his
eagerness to discuss research on the medieval period -- and (as his
publications demonstrate) on his beloved county of Devon.
Dave Postles has compiled a partial bibliography of his work, which
is to be found below. Hopefully at least some of it might eventually
be reissued in the form of a volume of collected essays.
