Hi Steph - this sounds really interesting. I am aware of a really wonderful
project around use of arts and emotional health in Chickenly in Dewsbury,
West Yorkshire - called roots and wings. Its based in a junior and infant
school and the arts are absolutely integrated as part of the schools life.
It's run my Mary Robson who deos amazing work and is herself currently a
NESTA fellow - i know she uses drawing amongst other things in the work and
it might make an interesting and useful visit for you. You can find Mary's
contact details on the Critical Connections website which is
www.criticalconnections.org.uk . You will also find there information about
a call for papers for an event coming up at the end of november, about the
role of arts within health and care - given your reseach topic you might be
interested in making a presentation or in potentially meeting others who
might be able to contribute to your work. Hope that helps.

I am undertaking research into why children and young adults stop
drawing. I am interested in any research that may link emotions
with drawing. If anyone has any current research on this topic or
that you think I may be able to use I would be very grateful to hear
from you.
