Call for Presenters DCMI Localization & Internationalization, DC2007, Singapore, 28 August.
The DCMI Localization and Internationalization Community will have a meeting at DC2007 in Singapore. It will be held August 28th at 15:00-16:30. http://www.dc2007.sg/index.asp?section=session#Localization
The meeting will be an opportunity for members of the DCMI L&I Community to exchange ideas and share experiences on localization and internationalisation issues arising from or relating to the use of Dublin Core in a variety of languages and cultures.
This is a call for short presentations to the meeting - 5 -15 minutes - on any topics relating to the Localization and Internationalization Community.
The theme of the conference is application profiles and so topics could include the use of application profiles for and to languages and cultures, developments in translations of DC Terms, representing languages and their scripts in metadata and any topics related to the goals of this Community.
Participants who are willing to present at the this session, and please contact the co-chairs, Karen Rollitt and/or Shigeo Sugimoto.
We are also very happy to receive ideas for topics to discuss at this meeting.
