Hi Catherine,
There are a number of ways you can make NCS edits.
I guess that the one you want is
copy-residue-range-from-ncs-master-to-others.
Here, the idea is for you to make modifications on the master (typically
"A") chain over a particular residue range, and the function will take
the specified residues and copy them to each NCS peer that has the "A"
chain (in this case) as its master (applying the reverse NCS operator as
it goes).
typical usage would be:
(copy-residue-range-from-ncs-master-to-others 0 "A" 6 12)
I am not sure that this function can handle the *addition* of residues
(or atoms) - I think that it currently cannot. Perhaps that is the problem.
