Jianghai:
Here is an alternative way to switch into stereo. Put the following lines in your
.coot file in your home directory:
(define graphics-general-key-press-hook
(lambda (key)
(format #t "key: ~s~%" key)
(cond
;; bind the F1 key
((= key 65470) (hardware-stereo-mode))
;; bind the F2 key
((= key 65471) (mono-mode))
(else
(format #t "Warning: No binding for key ~s~%" key)))))
Start coot and press the key you want to use for switching into stereo, in this case the F1 and F2 keys
are bound, but the key codes vary probably from system to system. If the key is not bound to anything, you'll get the warning message from the script above. Plug the displayed value for the key into the script, repeat this for switching to mono-mode and you should be in business. Beats groping around the menus with a mouse.
