I think the biggest gap in Fish's work is the economic context of his interpretive communities. At
least I've not seen anything on this. I've banged on about this elsewhere, but I don't think it's
possible to understand literature fully outside of its economics. That model largely steers the
possibility of reader and writer meeting, even if the model is Web based, it's not free.
