Two 1 Year fixed-term Lectureships in Actuarial Mathematics

Imperial College is ranked in the top ten universities of the world, according

Applications are invited for two 1 year fixed-term lectureships in Actuarial Mathematics, starting on
October 1st, 2007. This is an exciting new initiative in response to a move by the
profession to broaden training for actuaries ensuring they are better equipped for
the roles they will serve in the future. Appointment for one year in the first instance, with a possibility
for extension in subsequent years. This is a prime opportunity for you to influence the course of
events by the exercise of your unique skills and abilities. You will hold a PhD or equivalent, and
have a record of achievement demonstrating excellent research in the field
of Actuarial Mathematics or Statistics, plus a good record of teaching experience.
The position is associated with the Statistics Section of the Mathematics Department, and with
the Tanaka Business School. Further information about the two departments can be found

Salary will be in the range £37,740 - £42,150 per annum.
