Postdoctoral Research Associate in Statistical Methods

Salary: £25,134 - 32,796 per annum
Limit of tenure: Three years
We are seeking to employ a statistician interested in medical problems to work on statistical modelling of the relationship between diet and disease, especially cancer, and in particular to develop statistical methods for handling measurement error in dietary data using multiple measurements by different methods. Candidates should have a familiarity with statistical techniques at least up to the level of a Master's degree in statistics and have an interest in developing new statistical methods. The formal employer will be the University of Cambridge, but the post-holder will be based both in the MRC Biostatistics Unit and in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care.
