Re the part-time question it would depend whether they were registered
full-time but in part-time attendance (in which case yes) or registered
part-time (in which case no)

If a student intermits for 2 or 3 years would you still supply a letter
Similarly if someone repeats part-time and remains part-time would you
supply a letter

At Teesside we issue exemption certificates for such students, ie who are
studying part-time on a full-time route repeating a year of study.

Apologies if this has been asked before....

We've been having discussions about whether students who are intercalating
are eligible for exemption from Council Tax, and therefore if we should be
producing certificates for those students to show to the Council.

I've had a look around and many say "yes", some say "no" and several say
that it is up to individual councils to interpret the rules (which makes it
difficult for us).

Does anyone have any clear guidance that they can point me to, or any
experiences they can share?
