A well timed discussion as we were talking about this only yesterday.
We are still debating the issue of Postgraduate students who are writing
up dissertations, especially if they defer the submission by one period,
as ours are currently allowed to. As some councils are requiring a
statement defining the precise number of hours that are being studied
then finding a form of words to satisfy them is proving a challenge.
