Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge UK is holding a Conference entitled
"MEGAPIXEL: The impact of High Definition technologies on the Screen arts
and Education" on the 10th-11th October 2007
(www.megapixelconference.co.uk)
The Conference is multi-disciplinary in nature, with academics,
technologists and film, tv and games professionals. We have a range of
speakers from BBC HD Research, Sony games, Al-Jazeera, Double Negative, as
well as international media theorist Lev Manovich.
We're interested in receiving abstracts about the application and
exploration of new imaging technologies, and responses and critiques to
the seemingly insatiable demand for ever greater
realism/visualisation/simulation in media forms.
