PROGRESS EDUCATIONAL TRUST
DIRECTOR
Progress Educational Trust (PET) is seeking a new Director. PET is a small
London-based charity. It aims to help create an environment in which
ethically sound practices and research in assisted reproduction and genetic
services will thrive, for the benefit of families threatened by genetic
disease or infertility.
Candidates must be educated to degree level, have proven organisational and
management skills, be familiar with ethical issues in assisted reproduction
and human genetics and have strong oral and written communication skills.
Experience and contacts in one or more of the following fields will be an
advantage: science communication, medical ethics, media, event organisation
and fundraising.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic supporter of PET's
objectives, be a self-starter, a good team player and have the ability to
deal successfully with third parties at a senior level.
The salary will be between £29,000 and £33,000, depending upon the
