Programmes Manager
Salary: Scale PO12 (SCP 44-47, £34,986-£37,476) pay award pending
The primary purpose of this post is to develop, deliver and promote an events and workforce development programme for museums, libraries and archives in the North West, which will build sector capacity and influence the improvement of services - creating modern organisations which are innovative, user-focused and sustainable.
You will achieve this through:
* effectively managing and evaluating projects and programmes
* ensuring continued funding for the delivery of projects and programmes, and seeking additional funding opportunities.
You will possess, or be prepared to develop, an understanding of the workforce development needs of museums, libraries and archives, and you will be able to integrate this knowledge into MLA North West's activity.
You will work at a regional and national level, forging strong partnerships with the sector and key stakeholders, and negotiating opportunities for the sector to benefit from workforce development and capacity-building programmes.
