two thoughts - which are not answers to your questions so I'm sharing
them on list...
1) re: filespace, have you thought about buying-in filespace from Amazon
S3? My suspicion is that you'll find this surprisingly cheap - though
there may be other, policy, reasons for not using it. It'll be
interesting to see what Jeff Barr has to say about this at IWMW.
2) why do you want to host this at all when all of your staff and
students can simply go to blogger (or whatever) for free?
