SIAS Ltd and Napier University - PhD Studentship under EPSRC CNA scheme
We invite applications for an EPSRC-and-Industry funded PhD studentship in
collaboration with SIAS Ltd. The subject area is likely to be Modelling
the Effects of Road Tolling in Microsimulation Models but the detail of
the project will be subject to development by the successful student.
The student will be supervised by Dr. Kathryn Stewart at Napier University
and will have a dedicated advisor from SIAS Ltd. Applicants should be
numerate with an interest in the built environment. Experience in
transport modelling or a mathematical background would be advantageous.
Applicants should have, or expect to be awarded, a good first degree or
master’s degree. The studentship will cover tuition fees and a tax-free
maintenance stipend of £12,600 per annum (for three years). To be eligible
for an EPSRC studentship the successful applicant must demonstrate a
relevant connection with the UK (usually through being ordinarily resident
in the UK for the past three years) and having indefinite leave to remain.
