A major step in "private" surveillance: a MIT research group experienced in
Rome a mobile phone surveillance system which enabled them to watch the
activity of a crowd in manifestations. Ad companies are highly interested
(for example, to check who are watching their hoarding) as well as the
public transportation system in Rome (to improve their network).
