There are various ways of binarising, but many of these could be done using
ImCalc. Selecting the c1 image only, the binarisation could be done by
evaluating i1>0.5 . There are also various other ways of doing it, and a
search through the archives of the mailing list (with the right key words)
should pull out a number of emails. I would suggest using keywords: ImCalc
and segmented
