Hello (again)
We are currently (as I type) having a discussion in the office about how
long the Council should keep appraisal records. I looked in the RMS-GB
guidance and the only thing that seemed to tie in with this was at 6.12 pg
44 Performance (retain for 5 years).
I was wondering if anyone knows what this is based on? We on the whole
disagree with the prescribed period and would in theory recommend length
of employment. However this then lead to a discussion about the value of
appraisals in the first place.
If anyone does anything different or totally disagrees with the above I
would be interested to hear your views.
