Hi John
Thanks for letting me know.
I wish I had the time to have a go about it, unfortunately I have not.
This is the most lame excuse I have ever heard of to obliterate a mine site. It is a shame that there is no one active in that part of Wales to protest about it, I assume that it is not scheduled ?
Pity that there are not a few more like us to prevent this sort of thing happening. I have copied you email to Tony King.
All the best
Graham

Have just received the following from Chris Howes, from 'Descent' caving magazine:
A heads up. Info just reached me about Pandora Mine in Snowdonia, where
apparently fences were erected in March to prevent cyclists from using the
spoil as ramps. Because access is still being gained, Conwy County Council
(linked with CCW?) either is or is planning to flatten the site to remove
the attraction.
I don't know what else might be flatted at the same time. If you learn
anything, can you let me know - otherwise, this is just for info.
Disseminate as you see fit.
