You will have an expertise in a recognised field of Screen Studies, and
will play an active role in developing Drama's excellent teaching and
research profile and developmental activities in the School of Arts,
Histories and Cultures.
Applications are welcome from individuals whose practice, research and
teaching interests are drawn from across the discipline of screen and film
studies.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can offer a specialism in
one of the following areas:
Film practice (including community film, documentary or writing for
performance on screen); World/Asian Pacific rim/Chinese cinema; Stage and
Screen history and historiography (particularly late 19th Century theatre
and early film or British provincial cinema); New media and performance;
Visual culture and film (Transcultural and/or transhistorical).
All these areas are growth or potential growth areas within the
discipline, and within the School of Arts, Histories and Cultures.
Salary
£30,012 - £32,796 p.a.
