I've just done the survey hoping to be able to comment on the fact that
if using Athens authentication users have to click on login via Athens
two or three times to access an article.
However the survey only asks very basic questions about age, occupation,
location, reason for accessing the site, how often you access it - there
were no questions about content and functionality. I fail to see how
these questions will help BMJ enhance content, products and services.
Is two grumpy posts to lis-med in the space of about 10 minutes a
record?

Dear All,
This message is to inform all users of BMJ's website - bmj.com that from
Friday 13 of July 2007, for 1 week only, the BMJ Group will be posting
an
online questionnaire on the bmj.com site.
As a part of our ongoing research this short survey will help us
understand more about our visitors, their areas of interest and to
collect
feedback about the content and functionality of bmj.com. It will be
active
from 13 July 2007 through 19 July 2007 (1 week). You should need to
complete the survey only once to access the website during this time.
You
will be asked no more than 10 questions.
We will place a cookie on your computer, allowing you to bypass the
survey
if you access the website again within the same week. You must accept
this
cookie in order to use bmj.com again during the week of the
questionnaire.
Thanks for your understanding; we know that your valuable feedback will
help us to continue to enhance our content, products and services.
Regards
Nick Turner
