Subject: Reference manager etc
Dear Colleagues,
Firstly apologies as I know this has been discussed many times before.
Does
anyone have any recent experience of the relative merits of Reference
Manager and EndNote or anything comparable. Did I imagine it or did I
see
something somewhere about something Web based?
At one point quite a while ago we were looking into getting reference
manager but met with a lot of objection from IT. One of the consultants
has
now gone to them with a request for End Note (just for him not
networked).
They then came up with the idea that our library management software
should
be able to perform the same function.I think I have convinced them that
it
can't, but have said that I would see if anyone could supply up to date
summary information of what can. I am counting on some of you being
alittle
more organised than I am!
