Senior Assistant Librarian (e-learning)

Salary £22541 - £27722 (with effect from 1 August 2007)

You will join the Education, Music, Humanities and Media team in the
Library and Computing Centre. Educated to degree level and with a
qualification in Library/Information Science, you will support the Academic
Librarians in delivering high quality library services to students and
staff of the University.
Enthusiastic and professional, you should possess excellent communication
and IT skills, and have experience of designing and delivering information
skills sessions. Knowledge of electronic information sources is essential
whilst experience of developing online learning objects for use in a VLE
and relevant subject knowledge would be an advantage. Late night duties are
expected during term time on a rota basis.
