JOURNALS SALES EXECUTIVE SOUTHERN EUROPE
The Journals Division of Taylor & Francis Group is pleased to advise it
has an opportunity for a Journals Sales Executive to join its library
sales team.
Reporting to the European Journals Sales Manager, the successful candidate
will be responsible for driving online sales in academic libraries
throughout Southern Europe. Ideally you should have at least two years
sales or library experience, plus a good command of at least one other
language from the territory in addition to fluent written and spoken
English.
Knowledge of the STM publishing industry would be advantageous, however
full training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
To identify and research opportunities for growth with both university
libraries and library consortia
To approach and promote online sales models to library customers and
consortia.
Attend library meetings and conferences throughout the territory.
Work with the Sales Administrator to provide quotations and identify
current level of business.
Successfully negotiate and agree sales proposals.
Maintain and develop relationships with key customers in a geographical
territory.
Produce regular reports on sales activity and development opportunities.

to prioritise tasks and the confidence to work under your own initiative,
whilst also working well as part of a team. You must be highly motivated
