It'll be interesting to see how this is reported.
Funny thing; I have been asking for years about data for the "whole
life" cycle of a search > starting from our website (metalib/sfx) >click
to biblio database > clickthrough to full text service but was always
told it was too hard. Looks as though Scopus and CSA have finally
decided this is possible... Especially the inward links
Now how does this Crossref stuff work again, and can we get data from
google scholar referrals?
C ;)

Dear Cliff Spencer,
Thank you for your e-mail. The Scopus usage reports will list all CSA
Illumina usage separately. The reports include how often a user clicked
on:
- the 'Abstract on CSA' button
- the 'Full text' button from a CSA Illumia record in Scopus
We will also list separately the inward links from CSA Illumina to
Scopus records, which will also be included in the CSA Illumina usage
reports.
We plan to have the new usage statistics live next week. I hope that
this answers your question.
Please do not hesitate to contact me in case of unclarity or more
questions.
With best regards,
Iris Bendijk
The Scopus Team

Subject: Scopus&CSA integration...
Hi,
What happens to the usage data when a joint search is undertaken? Is the
data counted at both Scopus and CSA sites? Or will the stats still just
count hits made on the Scopus database and not CSA?
Cheers.
Cliff.
