Dear all,
In TBSS technical report as well as in the TBSS part of FSL webpage, FA maps
preparation includes:
1. pre-alignment (by FLIRT?) of images to correct for motion and eddy
currents
2. DTIfit
3. BET
However, in the DTIfit part the sequence of procedures is:
1. eddy_correct (is it the same as the FLIRT procedure?)
2. BET on b=0 images (binary mask)
3. DTIfit, whose output is already brain-extracted (due to the binary brain
mask, so applying BET doesnt make sense to me anymore)
Is there any real difference between the described procedures, or they are
in fact the same (and it is just a matter of different description?)?
Thank you!
Aga
