Steven,
In response to your email about reviewers for EIfEL,
I have submitted my details online as requested but I will not be able to submit my CV until 16th July as I am on holidy at this point in time. I have a PhD in technology and design (not ICT or e-learning) but I have extensive experience in organising conferences, designing and managing e-learning programmes and I am chiar of the Northern Ireland e-Portfolio development Group. I would be happy to act as reviewer if needed and if you can wait until 16 for my short CV.

Subject: Call for academic reviewers - ePortfolio 2007 Conference (Maastricht (NL) 16-19 October)
Dear colleague,
On behalf of Prof.dr. Rob Koper and the scientific programme committee of
the ePortfolio 2007 conference, I would like to invite academics or
practitioners with a PhD-level in the field of technology enhanced learning,
lifelong competence development, or related research domains to act as
reviewer for the academic track of the ePortfolio2007 conference.
This year's conference theme is Employability and Lifelong Learning in the
Knowledge Society.
The conference covers a broad range of topics related to the theme of
lifelong learning, as listed on http://events.eife-l.org/ep2007/call/Themes.
The programme covers both a practitioner and an academic track, with Prof.
Rob Koper acting as scientific programme chair. The most recent call for
contributions is included in this document.
In practice, the academic reviewing period will consist of 6-8 weeks in the
months of July and August. The deadline for paper submissions is July 15th,
and the notification of authors is set at August 30th, 2007. Each reviewer
will be expected to review 2 (max. 3) full or short papers. Full papers have
a maximum length of 8 pages, short papers a maximum length of 4. The review
process is supported by an online conference support tool. You will be asked
to score the submissions assigned to you through an electronic form (an
offline version of this form can be sent to you on request).
If you are willing to act as reviewer, I would kindly ask you to register by
filling out some contact details at the following URL
http://www.conftool.net/ep2007/index.php?page=register. Please make sure to
select the button "Submit User Data, Register Later". Please also reply to
e-mail address below with a short summary of your background (or a CV), so
that if you are selected to act as reviewer - we can change your status to
"Member of the programme committee", and start the paper assignment process.
Thanks in advance for your kind contribution to this conference.
Kind regards,
Steven
