Dear List Members
Please see posting below from the critical management list.
I'm keen to develop something similar for arts/heritage marketing over the next
couple of years in order to provide a resource for scholars and postgradute
students in the area.
If any list members would be willing to work on a team that would manage this
process, or would be willing to contribute ideas, suggestions and references,
please let me know off-list.
Best wishes
Daragh O'Reilly

Working with several critters, we have been compiling this
bibliography of work in and about critical mgt studies. We now have a
list of over 2500 references, and thanks to efforts by John Truty, it
is now in a form that allows users to search it, add items and
comments on existing items, and export search results in various
formats.
The way to get to this bibliography is to go to
http://group.aomonline.org/cms/Resources/Crit_biblio.htm
On this web page, you'll see ...
* a description of the bibliography and a user name and password.
* a hot link to "A brief instruction manual" located here" -- do
download this, as it's pretty useful.
* the link to the bibliography itself: click on the link "The CMS
WikIndx" -- then, under the top-left Wikindx menu, click on "User
logon" -- this will get you access to all the functionality of this
new resource.
This wiki-based tool has some cool features:
* the bibliography searchable;
* you can download selected references in several formats including
RTF and Endnote;
* you can edit and add comments to existing entries;
* and you can add other references individually or en masse in several formats.
Please note that the list is very much of a work-in-progress. It was
compiled from various resources that are already available and that
fit broadly within the orbit of critical management studies. There
are numerous gaps as well as errors, so we would welcome people
helping out to correct errors, add references, suggest better
keywords, and add short abstracts and/ or critical notes. Adding
better key-words would be particularly valuable. The wiki format
makes such editing very easy -- simply sign up and you are free to
edit!
Our goal was to keep the list focused on work more or less in a
critical spirit. In our own writing as critters, we of course make
extensive reference to more or less un-critical texts too, but if we
were to include those citations too, the purpose of this bibliography
would be lost.
Such a file is pretty easy to sabotage, so we will need to be alert
to that risk.
John Truty, the CMS-IG webmaster, has agreed to act as a contact
person if you have suggestions. He's at <[log in to unmask]>
We hope it's useful to you all!
Paul
