Dear colleague, if you are attending SPA conference we warmly welcome your attendance at a meeting on the 'Initial Consultation Phase with HE on the development of The Public Services Diploma (FE)' in the Arts Building in Room LR2 from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
The Public Services Diploma is in the first stage of development and may provide an access route for potential students of Social Policy in HE.
The meeting is being convened by SWAP on behalf of Lis Martin, Diploma Partnership Co-ordinator with the aim of informing delegates about the development on the new diploma and consultation plans for the involvement of the HE sector in the development process. Copies of relevant documents will be available to take away.
We thank the SPA conference organisers for accommodating our request for this meeting at short notice.
We also would like to invite delegates to meet us at our stand and to collect copies of our free resources, including our new student written guide on 'Preparing to succeed on your social policy course'.
We are also offering up to six people the chance to each receive book vouchers worth £25 if you sign up for a 15-20 minute interview during the conference with a member of the SWAP team to share a specific example of using social policy research in your teaching to contribute to a publication in planning. Please come to our stand to sign up if you would like to know more and to sign up.
With thanks
