Wales & the West Romanticism Seminar
If you haven't done so, do write back and let us know whether you would be
interested in joining our mailing list. Literary critics, cultural
historians, researchers and anyone interested in the period are welcome to
join, regardless of discipline.
The purpose of the group is to meet twice a year for socializing and
seminars at Swansea. These would last from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm and include
lectures by plenary speakers and shorter discussion papers on work in
progress. They would be free with a small charge for sandwiches and
coffee. We could also occasionally organize larger scale themed day
conferences supported by BARS (the British Association for Romantic
Studies). The group would enable scholars to meet up and to find research
partners from other institutions. Private scholars, retired colleagues and
postgraduate students would be able to make useful contacts with those
working in their field. We could also notify everyone on the e-mail list
of relevant local events and research seminar programmes.
We look forward to seeing you in Swansea.
Yours faithfully,
Anthony Howell ([log in to unmask]);
Rania Chatsiou ([log in to unmask]);
Redfern Barrett ([log in to unmask]),
