Dear Colleague,
Survey on Climate Change for Lecturers in Tourism
We would really value your contribution to the debate on climate change and
the impacts on and by tourism. Please help us out by completing the on-
line survey which can be found at
https://www.heacademy.ac.uk/survey/climate_change/
The survey is in the sections which are designed to enable us to determine
the beliefs, values and knowledge that are being discussed with students
(i.e. future tourism managers):
** your understanding and beliefs about climate change and its relevance
for tourism
** your reading and research on climate change and teaching that is going
on in your department
** your personal energy consumption behaviour
'
As far as we are aware, this is the first time ever such a survey has been
undertaken with tourism academics in mind so your contribution is of vital
importance.
The findings will be presented at an E-CLAT conference on 'sustainable
toursim - finding solutions' in Sweden in September. It would be great if
you would also be willing to participate in future discussions about this
topic. Please be sure to complete the contact details at the end of the
questionnaire if you are prepared to become further involved,or if you
would like the results of this survey.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries or other
