Subversion import has completed (makes a big difference if you do the
import on a RAID0 disk with write speeds of 350 MB/s). I've put the JAC
code into appropriate places (perlmods/ applications/ and
applications/obsolete). I've also put some java code that I had lying
around (GSD reader) into subversion but I'm happy to delete it since it
may be a tad confusing (should I put it in the starlink cvs java tree?)
You can check out the repository by either
svn checkout svn+ssh://ssh.jach.hawaii.edu/jac_sw/svnroot/starlink/trunk star
or (if you don't have JAC ssh access or prefer webdav)
svn checkout https://starlink.jach.hawaii.edu/svn/trunk star
"cvsweb" can be found at
https://starlink.jach.hawaii.edu/viewvc
Note that branches and tags are essentially different directory trees (as
you can see from the top level viewvc page. If you don't specify "trunk"
above you'll end up with a seriously large checkout!
I've almost got Norman's commit summary email code rewritten to use
svnlook (much shorter than the CVS version) so will try to get that
reinstated next week. Haven't got the webdav authentication for commits in
place yet.
Note:
svn status - tells you what has changed locally
svn diff - tells you the diff for local changes
svn update - as for cvs (do not use it to see what has changed)
svn commit - as for cvs
svn copy - copy a file without losing history
svn remove - remove file or directory
svn move - rename a file without losing history
