Hi Paul, List,
I have to second that the ArtRepair toolbox seems quit useful. I just
started using it after hearing your very interesting HBM talk in Chicago
last week, since many of my coworkers have to deal with high motion
subjects.
Perhaps a useful idea: some of our own toolboxes uses .fig interfaces as
well, designed using Matlab GUIDE (which I think you used as well). I
think in the matlab 7 preferences somewhere you can set that .mat and
.fig files will have to be written with backward compatibility to at
least matlab (similar to using the -v6 flag when writing from the
command line). You might then reload your graphical interface in GUIDE,
and write it again. That solved the exact same issue for me in the
r2agui.sourceforge.net tools. It now seems backwards compatible with 6.5
and up, that was all I needed to do. So Erin, you could try that in
matlab 7 and write it out again, perhaps you are lucky and everything
works in matlab 6(.5?) again.
Otherwise it is helpful to write interfaces the old fashioned way, using
the uicontrol and uimenu functions in a script. That way not only the
dinosaurs can use it but also the even less developed vertebrates still
using pre-6 matlab versions.
Take care,
Bas
