The Sigma Research website has just been updated with direct links to three
national surveys into the (sexual) health of the UK adult population.
Vital Statistics 2007, the online version of the Gay Men’s Sex Survey, is
available at: http://www.vitalstatistics.org.uk
Bass Line 2007, a survey of African people living in England is available
at: http://www.Bass-line.org.uk
What do you need? 2007, a UK-wide needs assessment for people with diagnosed
HIV is available at: http://www.WhatDoYouNeed.org.uk
All three surveys are running throughout the summer and each has two ways
people can take part - either online or via a booklet version for Freepost
return, available via service providers. Both Bass Line and What do you
need? are also available to complete online in French, and Bass Line has
French language booklets.
More details about the surveys can be found at:
Vital Statistics @ http://www.sigmaresearch.org.uk/projects21.html
Bass Line @ http://www.sigmaresearch.org.uk/projects39.html
What do you need? @ http://www.sigmaresearch.org.uk/projects36.html
If you are willing to promote any of these surveys through your website or
mailing lists, or you can distribute the booklet versions please contact
Gary Hammond <[log in to unmask]> for more details. All
distributors or advertisers that recruit more than 20 people to any one of
the surveys will receive an anonymised data report on those people they
recruited to that survey.
